Christmas Day - Part II - 12/25/10

Avery's first Christmas Day continued at Grandma Ann and Grandpa Ken's house. Great Grandma and Grandpa Passe, Aunt Nancy, Aunt Bev and Chandra were all there! So fun to see everyone! Plus, more presents!

Christmas Day - Part I - 12/25/10

Avery woke up to her first Christmas morning at Grandma Jen and Grandpa Greg's in Poulsbo.

Our little girl may not have completely understood what was going on, but she had a great time dressing the part and letting us stare at her with loving eyes!

Christmas Eve 2010 - 12/24/10

We got to spend Christmas Eve at Great Grandma and Grandpa Jorgensen's house in Port Ludlow. It was wonderful to see everyone, and even though Avery started eating solids earlier in the day, she managed to avoid having any Lutefisk!

First Solid Food!! 12/24/10

Christmas Eve day marked the first day Avery took on solid food! She started off with a few frowning faces and looks of disgust, but started to get the hang of it after awhile!

Visit from Uncle Albert - 12/23/10

With Christmas rapidly approaching, we received a visit from our Best Man, Albert. It was great for Avery to finally meet Uncle Albert!

Christmas Shopping - 12/12/10

We got a lot of holiday shopping done today - our little shopper was dressed up nicely with her lavendar scarf.




















Avery started strong, but as she often does, faded quickly and slept through a good portion of our trip to the mall.

Avery's First Apple Cup - 12/4/10

Unfortunately, Avery's first Apple Cup experience fell a bit short with the Cougs coming close but losing 35-28. However, there will be many more Apple Cups in this little Cougs future!

Happy 91st Birthday Great Grandpa! - 11/27/10

What a great start to the day! We met with the family at the Original Pancake House in Ballard, across the street from the house where Grandpa grew up. Grandpa enjoyed his usual Dutch Baby, and we all stuffed ourselves with a huge breakfast.

Happy 5 Month Birthday! - 11/25/10

We have reached the 5 month mark!

Our little turkey weighed in at 18 lbs., 3 oz. Just over a pound more than the real turkey we enjoyed for Thanksgiving dinner :)

Thanksgiving 2010 - 11/25/10

What a great Thanksgiving! We took the ferry over to Poulsbo for Avery's first Thanksgiving dinner. It was so great to spend the day with family and stuffing ourselves with all the delicious food!

SNOW!!! - 11/22/10

Did somebody say........SNOW!!!!!



















It only snowed a few inches today (which paralyzed and brought the city to a standstill) but Avery got to experience her first snow! She shared in the excitement with Jack.



















Avery took one look outside and decided it would be better to stay inside with mommy and daddy.

Love at First Sight - 11/21/10

Caitlin and Leo came over for a visit early on Sunday. The two little squirts quickly had a connection - you can see it in their eyes :)
